There was a little a and big B. Or rather a little 00 and big 00, as you saw them then. Hidden in a magical cave. You were crawling. Things around you were gigantic.
On your knees, little baby you!

This exhibition consists of a body of works spanning the last 10 years, centered around signs (letters, emoticons and logos). Catala has had an emphasis on language throughout his practice, mainly regarding the incapacity of language to truly communicate. For all the bells and whistles of the new added vectors of communication, it feels like we are further and further apart from each other, and drifting once again into the abyss.
